We provide on-site interpreting services throughout the greater Chicago area. Cultural “brokering” by CCIS' professional interpreters helps eliminate misunderstandings when knowledge of specific cultural customs is needed to provide quality service to a client.

Telephonic Interpreting Services
Our experienced telephonic interpreters are available by phone within seconds and ready to assist you in over 200 languages, anytime, anywhere. Our telephonic interpreters are well equipped to provide support in any setting and industry sector including healthcare, government, legal, insurance, and financial services.
Skills you can expect from our telephonic interpreters:
- Proficiency in both English and the target language
- General knowledge and familiarity with both cultures
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both languages
- General knowledge of the subject to be interpreted
- Complete confidentiality; compliant with government-mandated privacy laws
- Call monitoring for quality assurance
Telephonic interpretation is available through the traditional dial in method, and also through our web-based platform. The platform can be accessed on a smartphone, tablet, or through your computer and is device agnostic.
Video Remote Interpreting
CCIS is happy to announce that we now offer video interpreting! Video Remote Interpreting connects Limited English Proficiency patients with interpreters quickly and securely.
Our platform is device agnostic. All you need is Internet access, a mobile device or computer and a webcam; there’s no expensive equipment to rent or purchase. Video Remote Interpreting conforms to all government regulatory and security requirements including HIPAA and ADA. |
